What Happened to Vocal Media?
Who remembers Vocal Media? I certainly do. This was the first platform that I ever wrote for that paid for blogging. I had seen Medium advertised, but I had never had the courage to join.
All that started back in 2020, and now in January 2024 I could not live without my online blogging platforms.
Vocal Media is run by Malia Fisher who is a media strategist focused on politics and social impact. As the Co-Founder & CEO of Vocal Media, she leads a team of political and social media strategists who build innovative influencer marketing campaigns on a variety of social media platforms.
When I first joined, the platform was a ghost town. Hardly anyone was active and there was a small Facebook group of approximately 200 people which I joined to share my work. Today, that same group now has nearly 3000 people.
What mainly pulled in writers to sign up were the writing competitions. Sorry, more like the competition prizes which were lump sum cash…
